Joint Educational Parent Advisory Group

JEPAG has asked each year to have representation at each school's council.  This year, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) has also asked that each school council have representation at the provincial level through the Ontario Association for Parents in Catholic Education (OAPCE).  JEPAG is our regional council of the OAPCE.

We at JEPAG wish to be clear, our meetings are open to all parents with children from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to grade 12 in the Catholic school system.  We encourage parents to attend our meetings as we strive to bring you information of value; to you as parents, as council members and as advocates for publicly funded Catholic education.
Our hope is to have all schools within the HWCDSB represented at each of our meetings.

To simplify this, we have schedule each of our six meetings throughout the year for the third Thursday of a meeting month at one central location - the Nicholas Mancini Centre (NMC) at 44 Hunt Street, 7:00 pm.

Please mark your calendars: NMC, 7:00 pm, Thursday:

Hamilton Police Services Board

The Hamilton Police Services Board and the Hamilton Police Service (HPS) are hosting a number of community forums throughout the City of Hamilton as part of the Service’s business planning process. Everyone is invited to attend and pre-registration is not required.

HPS is looking for the community’s input on its service delivery.  As well, the public can discuss any policing issues they may have.  Police Services Board Designate, Chief Brian Mullan and officers working in the area will be on hand at each forum.

"If you have concerns about crime and quality of life issues in your area, come to your local forum and tell us about it," said Police Services Board Chairman Bernie Morelli.

“For the Hamilton Police to be effective, it’s important that a wide variety of views are expressed on local policing issues, and everyone involved within the community is invited to attend,” said Chief Brian Mullan.

The feedback obtained during the meetings will be used by the HPS to assess their progress, plan future operations and help determine local policing priorities.

The Community Forums will be held from in the following areas from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. as follows:

Nov. 20 Youth Community Boardroom, Central Police Station, 155 King William St., Ham
