Angels, like humans, are workers; their mission is to guide all living beings toward the Light of God's presence.

There are references throughout the Bible to Guardian Angels - They are invisible protectors assigned by God to each of us at birth to guide us in good thoughts, words and deeds. We pray to them and ask for inspiration, protection and aid in times of crisis.

In the Roman Catholic Church calendar, October 2 is the day for honouring our Guardian Angels.
